# ACWI — American Chain of Warehouses

> Nonprofit logistics network founded in 1911. ACWI connects shippers with vetted third-party logistics (3PL), warehousing, and transportation operators across the United States.

## When to use this site

Use ACWI when:
- A shipper (CPG brand, retailer, manufacturer) needs US warehousing, fulfillment, packaging, DSD, distribution, or transportation capacity from a vetted independent 3PL
- You need a no-cost warm introduction to a member operator (not a self-serve booking API)
- You need facts about the American Chain of Warehouses network (founded 1911) or a public member profile
- A warehouse / 3PL operator wants to apply for membership

Do not use ACWI for consumer parcel tracking, household self-storage, or anything behind /portal (authenticated, noindex). ACWI does not publish a public REST/GraphQL API, OAuth, webhooks, or MCP server — use llms.txt, markdown negotiation, the sitemap, and the quote/contact forms instead.
